Assimilation takes place by interpretation and/or analysis. In either case, it usually involves the use of portable (“laptop”) computers.

If you are doing only interpretation, you should find that the same hardware we recommend for acquisition is adequate.

If you are doing analysis, you are likely to want more capable equipment. We evaluated hardware for analysis in August 02015. We selected the following representative equipment.
